    I bought the GL Parlan in BlackBurgundy. I have to admit the colour is just gorgeous. However I noticed there were some minor hardware fails when I unboxed my bag, such as the metallic adjustable bucket was cloudy and scratched, and there were some loose threads at the zippers. The one of the zippers was also not as smooth when opening which made me disappointed. Despite all these shortcomings, I do love how it can fit two food containers, my 500ml tumbler and umbrella. The special a5 pocket was just nice to fit my kindle PW5 in as well. The secret back pocket is deep enough to fit my iphone12mini and a cardholder. The bag nylon material is a little stiff which makes the bag not as flimsy and kinda structured. The PU leather won't absorb water compared to normal leather so it is reasonable that the bag itself is water-resistant however I'm still testing whether the material would cling to dust. Being a larger gal (size 16), I was afraid that the parlan would make me look large. But somehow the design of the make flatters me. Surprisingly the bag itself looks more longer rather than wider when worn. I guess this is also another plus point. Overall I would have rated this bag a 4/5 but the minor setbacks is cost a star.

The backpack itself is 30 x 28 x 13 cm so it will likely not fit in the main body of the bag either.
